Chata Havranovo

The trip from the MT WOLF rental company in Turčianske Kľačany to Chata Havranovo is one of the most beautiful all-day e-bike routes in the Turiec region. The route has 63 km, elevation 734 m and the ride itself takes approx 4 hours without long breaks. Thanks to a pleasant profile and high-quality communications, it is about moderately difficult route, whose main challenge is mainly its length. However, with a powerful e-bike, even recreational cyclists with basic fitness can handle it comfortably.

The route mainly follows high-quality asphalt roads, local roads and paved forest roads. From Turčianske Kľačany, it continues across the Turčianska kotlina towards the village of Belá-Dulice, from where it flows into the Belianska valley. At its end, it leads along a quiet mountain road to Chata Havranovo. The surface is easy to ride along the entire route and technically undemanding, thanks to which even less experienced riders can fully enjoy the ride.

During the trip, you will be treated to wonderful views of Malá Fatra, Veľká Fatra and the surrounding hills that surround the entire Turiec region. The route passes through peaceful villages, vast meadows, fields and forest sections. After entering the Belianske valley, the landscape changes to a quiet mountain environment, where you will be accompanied by the sound of the Belianske stream, dense forests and the slopes of Veľká Fatra. Lysec hill rises above the valley, one of the most famous peaks of this part of the mountain range.

After arriving at Chata Havranovo, you can comfortably park your e-bike, relax and enjoy refreshments at the local buffet during opening hours. The cottage offers a pleasant environment in the middle of nature, where you can treat yourself to refreshments, recharge your batteries and enjoy the peace of the mountain environment. The surroundings of the cottage are an ideal place for a short walk or a rest before the journey back.

If you want to make your trip even more enjoyable, you can also visit the surrounding tourist attractions. Among the most interesting are Waterfall in Došná, output to Fox, hiking towards Cottage under Borisov or one of the ridge routes of Veľká Fatra with wonderful panoramic views.

After prior reservation, it is also possible to stay overnight at Chata Havranovo, thanks to which you can divide the entire trip into two days. Upon agreement, we will also lend you an e-bike charger at the MT WOLF rental office so that you can comfortably recharge your battery during your stay. The next day, you can continue hiking or head back to Turčianske Kľačany after a rest.

Since the route is not technically demanding, we recommend it to recreational and more experienced cyclists, couples, groups of friends and families with older children who want to experience a longer day trip in a beautiful mountain environment. The route is also suitable for children from a height of approximately 140 cm who already have experience riding a bicycle.

If you want to fully enjoy the trip, we recommend planning it as a full-day trip with enough time for breaks, refreshments and getting to know the surroundings. We recommend taking a cycling rucksack, plenty of fluids and small snacks with you. In case of less favorable weather, we recommend packing a light raincoat. Before leaving, we will set the correct saddle height, explain the e-bike control and recommend a suitable assistance mode according to your condition. We will lend you bicycle helmets and locks for e-bikes as part of the rental.
