Chata pod Chlebo

The trip from the MT WOLF rental company in Turčianske Kľačany to Chatu pod Chlebom is one of the most challenging and at the same time the most beautiful mountain e-bike routes in Mala Fatra. The route has 25 km, elevation 1,031 m and the ride itself takes approx 2 hours and 20 minutes without long breaks. Although it is a shorter route, the high altitude makes it a great one very demanding trip, who will check the condition of each cyclist. However, thanks to the electric drive, you can enjoy difficult climbs without unnecessary exhaustion.

The route leads mainly on asphalt mountain roads and high-quality paved forest tracks. The surface is well-maintained and technically undemanding, the difficulty lies primarily in the long climb and the large elevation gain.

During the trip, the dense forests of Mala Fatra, mountain meadows, numerous panoramic views and a unique mountain atmosphere await you. As the altitude increases, beautiful views of the Turčianska kotlina and the surrounding peaks of Mala Fatra open up.

After arriving at Chata pod Chlebom, you can relax on the terrace, enjoy homemade meals, soups or traditional mountain specialties. The cottage is one of the most popular tourist spots in Mala Fatra and is an ideal place to recharge your batteries before the journey back.

We recommend the route especially to more sporty cyclists and riders who want to experience a real mountain excursion. Although it is not technically demanding, its length of ascent and elevation make it one of the most difficult routes in the MT WOLF offer.

If you want to fully enjoy the route, we recommend that you reserve enough time for the trip, pack enough liquids, small snacks and, depending on the weather, a light raincoat. Bicycle helmets and locks for e-bikes are part of the rental.
